About Charli

Having Found early in school that through helping others when I had already taught myself the content that I was really good at explaining concepts in new and creative ways I developed my passion for teaching. Studying psychology and economics in school, the psychology aspect broadened my horizons to the array of different learning types that are out there and not being properly addressed in our education system. I hope to provide a service that tailors the teaching to the student and their method of learning. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing a student succeed and feeling confident and happy while doing so.

Hi I’m Charli an experienced tutor who has worked closely with both young children suffering with learning difficulties, ADHD, as well as older children seeking assistance with English, Maths or Psychology. My work experience along side a speech pathologist has extended my learning knowledge and teaching styles in primary learning ensuring that I have the skills equipped to deal with all different learning styles.

Having achieved a 98 ATAR in school, with study scores of 47 in Psychology, 46 Business Management, 45 in Sociology and 41 in English. I also completed both further mathematics and mathematical methods. My success in high school has furthered my understanding as to how to study best and achieve high results in a high school setting.

I have furthered this knowledge in my commerce and psychology degree and therefore have revisited much of the content within university. I have also furthered my mathematical knowledge within my economics major and highly enjoy teaching maths to a year 10 level and have worked with 10 students over the last year weekly from a year 8-10 level with a 100% success rate at improving grades and confidence.

I plan at the end of my degree to pursue a masters in education, as my love for teaching has grown through my tutoring. I have also taken up studies on ADHD, after being diagnosed myself and developing a passion towards creating resources and strategies for students to get the best out of their learning styles and capabilities.
