About Jane
I am a very experienced teacher who has achieved excellent IGCSE and AS English Language results, including Top in Country. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Higher Education Diploma with Art and English as my teaching subjects. In addition to Art, I studied English Literature and Linguistics at University.
I have also completed a Cambridge course in AS English language marking and marked AS English examinations for Cambridge in June 2023.
When I am not teaching, I can be found attempting a little bit of trail running in the mountains, tending my garden and spoiling my Italian Greyhounds.

If you find IGCSE or AS Level English challenging, I have a method of breaking concepts down into small bite sizes before building skills and confidence.
You can expect:

- easy, manageable steps before putting everything together to achieve your goals.
All lessons include digital resources.
My teaching approach is to nurture trust, as well as to build confidence and grow independence in my students. Of course, positivity and a sense of humour go a long way to keeping the lessons lively.
