About Charlotte
Since studying English Language and Literature at A-Level, I’ve kept a strong love for English and enjoy passing that enthusiasm on to my students. Preparing for GCSEs can feel overwhelming, especially as it’s often your first experience of revising under real pressure. My goal is to make that process easier by giving you practical tools to revise efficiently, clear strategies for tackling tricky topics, and the confidence to approach exams with calm. English becomes much simpler once you understand the formula behind what examiners are looking for — and that’s where I come in! I currently support several students with their English GCSE preparation and would love to help more learners feel confident and ready for success.

Specialising in GCSE English Literature and Language prep for students who need extra support and guidance in how to prepare and revise for upcoming exams. I take a personalised approach to tutoring that allows for different styles of learning and different levels of capability. Some subjects come less naturally to students than others so my aim is to breakdown the subject in an easily digestible way and give tips and tricks that demystify what the examiners will be looking for. Sessions can range from 1 - 1.5 hours, depending on the attention span of the student.
