About Jess
Hi, I'm Jess!
I'm thrilled at the prospect of being your English tutor.
With a First-Class degree in English Language and Linguistics, coupled with A Level and GCSE English Literature and Language, my academic journey has been both rich and varied. Further to my undergraduate degree, I have a Distinction in a Photojournalism masters degree, which has seen my english studies utilised and broadened for professional use. This unique blend of language studies, linguistic expertise, and storytelling experience provides a distinctive backdrop to my teaching approach.
Beyond my academic journey, I've had the pleasure of teaching English Language and Linguistics as a peer learning tutor during my university years, offering support to fellow students in preparation for assignments and exam seasons. I've also embraced the world of Teaching English as a Foreign Language education by teaching international students. These experiences have not only honed my teaching skills but have also deepened my appreciation for diverse learning needs.
