  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I developed a keen interest in teaching English because of my roots: I studied in a British School in New Delhi, India. I was very active in drama and debates. I also read a lot of classic books like Julius Caesar, Macbeth, A tale of two cities etc. It was when I moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil and learned Portuguese, I started teaching English and that was the turning point when I became passionate about this profession. Not only was I able to make a difference in people's lives by helping them get jobs and certificates, I was also able to make new friends. I love to communicate, share my knowledge, and learn from others. My interest in teaching English has just grown ever since.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

My desire to make a difference in other people's life and the happiness that I feel when my student achieves his goals are the biggest drivers for me and this is what makes me passionate about my subject.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

I'm a Superprof because I'm a native English speaker and I speak fluently. I understand the needs and difficulties of students. I can develop their English skills according to their learning requirements quickly. I am patient, dedicated, organized and passionate about teaching and focused on results for each student. As a result, many students improved and evolved to become fluent while learning with me. Students passed their Cambridge exams and their job interviews. I trained students to give interviews and they got promoted in their job. I have been teaching English for 7 years in São Paulo to students of all levels - both business and general English.
  • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Barack Obama because his efforts as president (2 terms) helped to end recession, war and bring peace in the world. He is a symbol of compassion and strength. He united the world's cultures by building strong relationships between countries. Among teachers, my Japanese language teacher has always been an inspiration for me as I admire the patience with which she taught. This was coupled with the infectious enthusiasm that she brought into the class which instantly engaged the learners. That's why I try to bring the same enthusiasm and engagement in my classes.
  • What are your keys to success?

My five keys to success are hard work, discipline, persistence, patience, and passion. I am a very disciplined and hard-working person which I think are very important attributes for achieving success in any field. About this point- I have a query -
