About Ellie
I currently tutor several students across KS2/3, having just dropped 6 GCSE students I have been working with the past 1/2 years up until their exams, therefore, I am looking to take more students on. All of my previous 11+ students have all gotten into their first choice of private schools and my GCSE students did very well in their mocks - only to hopefully come out with a great grade this summer too.

Hi, I'm Ellie - I am currently at university studying Forensic science. I have previously completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I have been tutoring now for 3 years, I am really easy-going, approachable and enthusiastic about learning! I teach mainly maths and science (with most of my students working towards their GCSE) but can also pick up English up to KS2. I take quite a practical side to learning, by trying to teach people by getting them to do activities rather than listening to me ramble on as I believe it is much more effective, I also am able to provide a lot of resources I have from the past. I also play the drums, and can teach from a complete beginner all the way up to grade 5.I currently teach several students in KS2/3 - including preparation for 11+ exams upcoming. I would be happy to travel although you would be able to come to my house if preferred, i am also happy to tutor online via skype etc. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions...

Ellie has been teaching my son for 2 years now, he has got a place in our first choice of independent schools after passing his entrance exam. Ellie still comes weekly to push him in maths and English so he does not fall behind in school to set him up for secondary school. I recommend her as she has a great approach to learning and my son does not get bored with her!
