About Matty

I started teaching online during the COVID pandemic, and it has completely changed my life! I've been teaching ESOL English for 10 years, having previously worked in schools in China and Italy. I graduated in English Literature. I'm also TEFL certified. My classes are usually more focused on the practical needs of the student, also great fun! Lots of my former students found my lessons very useful in achieving their goals, whether that's passing specific exams (IELTS, Cambridge etc.), or even becoming English teachers themselves! I'm immensely proud of all of them and have made friendships that will last a lifetime!

About the lesson

I plan fun, diverse and useful ESOL classes that are totally focused on my students' needs. From exam preparation to general conversation, my classes will be a huge part of your journey towards achieving your goals. I am TEFL certified, with experience of teaching for several years around the world. My lessons are suitable for adults (16-80), and a basic understanding of English is required.
