About Beatrice
I am about to complete my degree in English Literature at the University of Exeter, and am going on to undertake a graduate degree at Oxford. I have experience tutoring at GCSE level, and can also teach AS and A-Levels. My previous students have improved significantly under my tutelage, climbing many grades in a short time.

I am a undergraduate student who gives lessons to people studying for an 11-plus, GCSE, or A-Level English assessment. I try to make my lessons engaging and often I find it is most effective to organise the lesson as a guided conversation rather than a one-sided lecture. I also include activities such as quizzes, mind-mapping, and practice exam questions. I am friendly and personable, and aim to create a learning environment that instils my students with a love of literature.
