About Per
I graduated from Western Washington University with BA in English Literature. From there, I spent seven years teaching English at Pacific Learning Academy and Spring Academy in the Seattle, Washington area. In both settings, I worked with each student one-to-one to build a curriculum that fit their learning style and (within reason) catered to their intellectual interests. I am respectful and open-minded, patient and compassionate. I have worked with students of all backgrounds, including those with various neurodivergencies. My primary goal is for everyone who works with me to feel safe enough to learn.

I have over seven years of experience teaching one-to-one. It has always been a necessity for me to take a personalized approach with my students, which helps us get to know each other and have more fun with the subjects we explore together.
