About Ash
I am an advanced student who takes multiple AP/AS classes, as well as dual enrollment courses at my local community college. I will receive my Associate's degree the summer after I graduate from high school. I am fifth in my class of over four hundred and have scored a 34 on my ACT. I am comfortable tutoring in many subjects; however, my main discipline is English and language arts.

My lessons are student-centered. The student and I will work together to find which teaching style works best for them. I am extremely flexible and adaptable to each student's needs. A typical lesson with me would look like: an introduction and overview of the topic that we would be discussing that day, any questions that the student had about their schoolwork that aligns with the topic, any input they had about what they would like to discuss that lesson, examples and interactive and collaborative work that I had set, and help with any schoolwork that the student had brought in for guidance. My lessons are for any middle schooler or high schooler who would like help or advice in the areas of English and language arts or ACT preparation.
