About Brittany
Hi, I'm Brittany!
A qualified educator with over a decade of experience working with children in education, child care and as a party and event entertainer.
I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and a Certificate IV in Education Support and I’ve worked in schools supporting students with a wide range of needs — including ASD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and children who simply need a bit of extra support to thrive.
I offer one-on-one and small group tutoring for primary-aged students, as well as school readiness support for preschoolers. Sessions are available after school, during school hours and over the school holidays.
I’m currently on maternity leave until Term 1, 2026. But with enough interest I’d love to continue tutoring full-time instead of returning to the classroom. It would mean I can keep doing what I love while also being home more with my baby girl.

My literacy sessions are personalised to each child, whether they’re just starting with phonics or needing extra support with reading comprehension, spelling or writing.
Each new student begins with a free meet and greet/assessment session. This is a chance for us to build a connection, chat about interests and see where they're at with their learning.
Here’s what a typical literacy session might include:
- Phonics & Decoding using techniques inspired by Sounds-Write and MultiLit.
- Reading Comprehension with age-appropriate texts and discussions.
- Spelling, Punctuation & Writing tailored to your child’s level.
- Games & Fun Activities to help learning feel relaxed and engaging.
- Tailored to each child.
I adapt everything to suit your child’s learning style — whether they’re a hands-on learner, visual, or love stories.
Whether it’s siblings, classmates, or individual support, I tailor each session to suit the student’s needs and make learning feel fun and engaging.
Extra "homework" can be provided upon request.
