About Sophie
I have experience working with children ages 5-17 as a tutor, coach, babysitter, and older sister and I am very comfortable adapting my approach for the respective age group I am working with. I believe that connecting with the student is key for tutoring.

My tutoring style is student-focused: I work with each student to address their individual academic and scheduling needs in certain subject areas. My goal is to help students not only perform well academically but to ensure that they understand the material and problem solving methods well, creating a strong base for future academic and professional success. My strongest area is essay writing for classes and applications (high school, college, job applications, etc.).
