About Ellen
I have been tutoring for several years for kids of various ages/grades. Kids have improved their decoding, writing ability and confidence with me. I help kids catch up who've fallen behind and help kids who are on grade level do a little better.

My teaching method is based on what the student needs. I have tutored adults as well as children. Adults generally want to improve their business communication. I have experience working with dyslexic children as well, and I'm certified in the SEE program. A dyslexic child will usually not want more than an hour lesson at a time, because they're probably a little ADD. I don't believe in giving lots of "homework" however, because kids get homework from school.

Perfect! Ellen has been great tutoring my dyslexic 7 year old. He is reading so much better now. I am grateful for her help and she is always professional! Ellen also tutors my 6 year old in math and he loves it.
