About Jean-Luc
Hello, my name is Jean-Luc and I am originally from near Lyon, France, my career has so far been mostly dedicated to English to French translation. I have now decided to teach English and French. I did in fact teach English to officers, non-commissioned officers during my military service for 10 months and did some one-to-one English tutoring with Acadomia in France. Late 2018, I decided to take the CELTA, the Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults to get the essential skills, knowledge, and hands-on teaching practice to teach English. I was observed by qualified and experienced teachers and guided for the planning of my lessons and had feedback from the tutors and my fellow trainees. This was a very rewarding experience as it showed me how much I like transmitting my knowledge of English.

My teaching method is learner-centred, but also interactive/participative. I base my classes upon fun, exchange, and enthusiasm from all, both learner(s) and instructor. Reading, writing, and speaking are obviously totally encouraged during my lessons that are properly planned and prepared.
