About Cosette
I am a caring, dedicated, and hard working tutor. I have been an instructor, a tutor, a coach, and a 1 to 1 aide of students of all ages and abilities. I have worked with students and brought them to great success. Usually students in dire need of help have improved by 1-4 grade levels when they are under my instruction.

I am a tough-nurturer. I have taught English, Honors English, Algebra, and Geometry. I believe in working at the pace of the student and checking in with them about exactly what they need help with. I look at the work the teacher has given and provide assistance from there. This step by step method allows for students to catch up and then excel. As far as essays and interventions go, I use a 5 paragraph essay structure with a point by point break down of each paragraph. Depending on your needs I can find intervention packets for you to work through. Otherwise, I like to work with what the teacher has assigned and work from there.

Details
I usually accept $20 an hour, but with lower grades can work with a lower rate. I currently tutor at $22 an hour.
