I graduated with a BS in Biology, with a focus in molecular & cancer biology. Tutor for 9 years and counting. Because of my ADHD, I am able to find multiple ways to approach and explain difficult subjects in an easy/quirky manner.

I first seek to establish what my student(s) best learning style; most people are visual, and Ive found that a whiteboard and large/clear drawings help explain the material. I then determine what material has been covered so far, and if any key concepts need to be revisited. Last, I find ways to encourage students to find solutions to problems in a way that will allow them to retain the material.
