About Jennifer
I am an adjunct professor of Biology. I have taught undergraduate Biology for over 20 years in person in lecture and lab as well as virtually through zoom and teams and through the development of asynchronous online courses in general biology, biology for majors and botany courses. I have a M.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology specializing in Animal Behavior and have worked as a Curator of Conservation and Science in the zoological field for ten years. My passions are animals, ecology and conservation.

I love helping students see science in their everyday life. I enjoy working with all learning styles and tailoring lessons to the individual student to help with science topics, study skills and tips for quiz and exam success. Whether a student needs help with scientific writing or lessons on cells, molecules, organisms, ecology or behavior; I can help them break down large ideas into easy to understand smaller concepts.
