About Rose
As a tutor, my top priorities are professionalism, respect, and a supportive learning environment. I bring a solid foundation in biology and chemistry, with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences, a minor in Chemistry, and several years of practical lab experience in both academic and industry settings. I've published research in PLOS One and have presented my work at scientific conferences, so I understand how to break down complex ideas in a way that’s clear and accessible.
In our sessions, my goal is to create a judgment-free space where students feel valued and motivated to succeed.

I often use a mix of visual aids, analogies, and real-world examples to make complex concepts in biology more relatable.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the subject at matter to reinforce learning and address any lingering questions. I then follow up on the troubling topic, breaking it down into manageable parts and checking for understanding as we go along. We wrap up with practice problems or a discussion question to apply what we’ve covered.
My lessons are ideal for students preparing for exams, needing reinforcement on specific topics, or looking for support with lab-based content. The level of knowledge can vary from middle school to college courses.
