About Kyla
Hi! I'm Kyla, I am 20 years old and have been teaching and caring for others from the age of 14. I love reading and writing, but I very much enjoy learning in general. My career is built on a deep passion for taking care of others. I actually dropped out of high school early and got my GED/diploma in 2023! Last year I had my son and quickly started babysitting so I could raise him while making money to support us both. While babysitting, I began to create mini lessons for the 3-year-old and 5-year-old that were in my care! I believe we don't give ourselves or children enough credit for the marvelous brains God gave us! Everyone goes at a different pace but from my own experience with my son and other children when you engage in mental growth it "produces more fruit in the mind." Through my own testimony I also encourage young adults never to give up by providing resources and motivation.

I create lessons based on individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses. I am very empathetic and patient with students. I like to go at the student's pace but also invite fun challenges into lessons. A typical lesson plan involves various activities to interact and participate in learning depending on the age and level of the student. LECTURES ARE NOT FUN! I love kids, I am big sister, an aunt, and a new mom and witnessing the growth of others brings so much joy to my life. I am very encouraging! My lessons are for kindergarteners and 1st graders I start with kids/parents who aren't ready for a school environment but are ready to start learning! I also teach young adults who may be uncomfortable with the school curriculum or are transitioning from high school to college and need guidance in finding jobs/careers/or next level education opportunities! I also provide babysitting services kids 6 weeks-12 years and do online "yoga" classes all levels welcomed!
