About Emma
Hello! I’m Emma!
I went through my high school years on a full academic scholarship based on my English skills. Throughout my time there, I helped casually tutor fellow students in some of my best subjects, including English and art. I have a passion for writing essays and making the perfect presentations!
After graduating, my writing and presentation skills helped me gain another full scholarship to university (a degree in game design, with a focus on production art and educational games). In the process of getting my degree, I helped my fellow students with their essays and coached them on how to nail a presentation.
I truly want my students to succeed and achieve their goals in a fun way! I always want the people I tutor to say ‘wow what Emma showed me turned out to be really worthwhile, and I really enjoyed how she showed me’.
I think the key to successful tutoring is to go at the students pace and tailor the lessons to how they learn best!

I always make sure to tailor my lessons to my students needs, and recap at the end to find out what we’ve learnt and what we need to go over next time! I take a personalised approach to learning and actively direct the lesson based on how my student best takes in information and what topics they find easy verse what they find challenging. My main objective is always to make sure my student meets their goals and enjoys the process of getting there!
