About Laura
- Franco-British binational, I studied from kindergarten to high school at the Lycée International in St Germain-en-Laye. In 2012, I obtained my Economic & Social baccalaureate with a specialisation in mathematics, with Highest Honors (18.87 / 20 average, 20/20 in mathematics).
- I studied economics and statistics at Sciences Po Paris and at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), with a Master's in Economics obtained in 2018 (mark for my Master's thesis: 17/20). In parallel to my studies, I gave maths and language lessons as well as tutoring.
- I worked for a few months in a language center in Caracas, Venezuela (individual and group English lessons, for students of all levels from 5 to 70 years old).

My primary focus is on how to learn effectively and on building confidence in math, which is often one of the biggest obstacles to learning. I therefore pay particular attention to pedagogy, and adapt to the needs and level of each student. The first course is used to get to know each other and to reflect together on the objectives and the appropriate working method for the duration of the course.
