About Georgina
I am a footwear and accessories designer/educator with over 20 years experience in the industry, and very passionate about nurturing new creative talent! I studied my BA degree at LCF Cordwainers, followed by my Masters in Footwear at the RCA. I have run my own business and worked alongside many famous fashion names to create catwalk and commercial collections. I was lucky enough to work alongside Alexander McQueen and design many iconic shoes including the Armadillo shoes. I now teach footwear at Bachelors and Masters level. Many of my students are placed in the top luxury companies and have obtained awards for their work under my guidance. I am an experienced designer and have been teaching alongside my studio practice for 10 years I like to encourage and challenge my students to achieve great things! win prizes and gain employment. Life is hard enough we all need help, and that's what I like to do. I have enjoyed an amazing career and believe in making way for the next generation.

I believe in building a strong collaborative relationship and encouraging the unique creative vision of each person I mentor. Whether you are at the very start of your journey - or wanting professional guidance, I have probably been in your shoes. Design is about solving problems through innovative solutions. I will use a variation of techniques to help develop your creative vision: You are an individual and as such the sessions will be tailored to your needs and desired outcome. I can help you achieve your vision: from concept development to final prototype creation. Following a 30 minute free session, and if we click, the structure of our sessions will depend on where you are on your design journey. I have taught many people how to create collections and develop their potential through my experience as a teacher and practising designer. I can teach beginners up to Masters level, and help you build a strong understanding of the footwear and accessories business.

Georgina is incredibly knowledgeable and her thoughtful approach to teaching was inspiring.
