About Jonathan

An incredibly able tutor, local to St Albans for over 20 years. Graduated in 2017 with a First Class Bachelor's in Mathematics from Coventry University. I love to teach maths, and I hope my enthusiasm for the subject will transfer to my students.

Before/ during university, I was involved in various tutoring schemes from as early as 2007. One of which involved older students assisting younger or new pupils who needed the extra help. This is where I realised my passion for teaching. Since graduating I have been working full time as a tutor both freelancing and through a company. My six years experience freelancing has been invaluable and I'm currently looking for new students to work with of all abilities.

About the lesson

With summer exams approaching, I remember the stress that many students may be feeling and it is my aim to alleviate this and inspire the confidence that will help them succeed.

You should contact me if you need tuition in any kind of maths up to A-Level and are looking for expert knowledge that will visibly improve your maths.

I have a very patient approach to tutoring and try to involve my students as much as possible to help them understand how to improve. I'm always happy to provide thorough feedback after each session. I encourage independent work from my students and a student's complete understanding of a subject is my priority (not just regurgitating taught information), therefore, I aim for my lessons to be clear and concise whilst encouraging an environment where no question is considered "stupid".
