About Tanishq
Hi, I’m a Year 12 student at Marcellin College with Excellence endorsements in both Years 11 and 12. I’ve been personally tutored in math since Year 2, and that early support really shaped the way I see learning—it gave me confidence and made math something I enjoyed. Now, I want to do the same for others. I tutor students from Years 1 to 8, either in person or online, and I focus on making math feel less scary and more rewarding. My lessons are flexible in length and are always tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. I use clear, step-by-step explanations, visuals, and a lot of encouragement to help build not just skills, but a positive attitude toward math. I provide all the textbooks needed—students just need a 1B5 book for notes and working. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping kids feel more confident in themselves and their learning.

I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s learning style, using clear explanations, visual aids, and step-by-step problem-solving to build confidence and understanding in a supportive environment. Lessons can be as long as the student prefers and usually include concept reviews, practice problems, and time for questions. I’m a Year 12 student at Marcellin College with Excellence endorsements in both Years 11 and 12, and I’ve been personally tutored in maths since Year 2. I now tutor students from Years 1 to 8, both online and in person. I provide textbooks for all students, so all they need is a 1B5 book to take notes and complete exercises during lessons.
