About Aine

I want to make students feel comfortable enough to ask me things so they can understand because when I was at school my confidence failed me and I want to prevent that from happening to others. I am very patient and will work to find the correct way to explain things to each student. I am optimistic and hope to motivate and encourage students to pursue any career they want to! Being a student myself means I can sympathise with problems that other students face and have a more hands-on approach! Learning with me ensures that you get flexible scheduling, personalised lesson plans, free resources, and a skilled tutor at an affordable rate.

About the lesson

Introduction (10 minutes) - introduce the topic at hand and provide some context on the topic Discuss the topic (15 mins)- I begin to explain the topic, give the important details and provide an understanding to it. Activities (20 mins) - I will have set up homework for the student to complete after learning about the topic with me. I can set questions to answer to gain that deeper understanding. Go through the answers (5 mins) - check on what the student has written and see if they are missing anything Questions (5 mins)- time at the end for the student to ask questions and to consolidate their knowledge where I will give them a mini test of what they have learnt. If they would like some homework, I can set that for them.

Perfect! Aine is an excellent tutor who has diligently helped me prepare for my GCSE History Paper 1 exam.
She goes through PowerPoints which I then write down in my notebook, this is how I learn best and I'm glad she was able to accommodate this.
I would undoubtedly recommend her to anyone looking for fantastic tuition.
