About Isabel
I am an Architecture tutor with 3 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have guided over 300 students in building strong design and technical skills. My teaching philosophy is based on making architecture clear, practical, and inspiring. I focus on design thinking, drafting software, and sustainable practices, using real-world examples to help students connect theory with application. I take pride in helping students complete design projects, build strong portfolios, and prepare for architecture school or careers. My teaching approach in Architecture is rooted in clear communication and understanding how each student learns best. I adapt my lessons to match different learning styles—whether visual, practical, or analytical—so students can absorb complex architectural ideas more effectively. Every concept is explained step by step, making space for questions and dialogue throughout the session.
To make learning more impactful, I regularly use real-life case studies and examples from both historic and modern architecture. This brings design principles, structural methods, and sustainability concepts to life. I also introduce students to tools and workflows commonly used in the field, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit, and help them understand materials, building systems, and environmental design.
Besides Architecture, I also teach related subjects like Urban Planning, Interior Design, Environmental Design, and Building Technology. My goal is to help students develop not only strong technical skills but also a thoughtful design perspective. With the right support, they can confidently bring their ideas into the real world.
