About Remy
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have spent over 6 years teaching students across various skill levels—from absolute beginners to aspiring professionals. My approach is flexible, encouraging, and rooted in developing both technical ability and personal expression through voice. In addition to teaching, I’ve performed in recitals, choirs, and stage productions, which enables me to bring real-world musical experience into every session. My understanding of performance anxiety, vocal strain, and interpretive challenges helps me guide students with empathy, strategy, and patience. I believe music is both craft and art. Helping students discover their unique sound is a passion of mine. I create a safe, uplifting space where singers can take risks, find their voice, and grow artistically. Whether you're seeking to sing casually or train seriously, I adapt lessons to your goals and work to bring out your best, one note at a time.

Each lesson begins by laying the foundation for healthy and effective vocal use. We explore posture, breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, and fundamental exercises to help develop tone clarity, stamina, and pitch accuracy. Beginners will gradually build vocal confidence while learning to control dynamics, enunciation, and simple melodic patterns in familiar songs. Intermediate lessons shift towards repertoire expansion, harmonisation, and vocal agility. Here, students explore genre-specific techniques such as vibrato, phrasing, and stylistic interpretation in pop, classical, or contemporary music. Regular practice in vocal placement and expression helps shape a distinct vocal identity while enhancing stage presence and emotional delivery. Advanced students focus on refining performance skills, mastering complex material, and preparing for auditions or recordings. Lessons emphasise tone colour, advanced breath support, phrasing depth, and storytelling through music. We tailor sessions based on the student’s vocal goals—whether it’s preparing for solo performances, competitions, or building artistry as a singer-songwriter.
