About Jessica
Hi, I'm Jess and dance is my passion! I've been dancing kpop and street styles for 5 years. I struggled a ton when I first started to dance in NYC, and it took me a lot of trial and error and hiding in the back of the class before I started becoming confident. I toughed it out, but I've heard lots of stories of friends who tried a class, went to the wrong level, got overwhelmed and never came back. That makes me sad because there are so many benefits to dance - it's such a beautiful expression of self and self-discovery, it's a great workout, and above all, it's fun! I don't want anyone else to fall into this trap, so let me set you up for success.

Have you always wanted to learn how to dance, but don't know where to start? Where do they even have classes? What do all these levels mean? What's "advanced beginner"? What's the difference between "hip hop" and "choreography"? I don't know what I'm doing and everyone's watching, help!
Don’t worry, these anxieties are normal, and I'll help you ease those worries so you can take your first class with confidence.
My class will teach you common dance grooves and moves, terminology you'll hear in your first class, and point you in the right direction depending on your dance goals.
It will be fun AND productive. Step into this safe space, and you'll walk out ready to show off your skills and start confidently on your dance journey. Can't wait to see you!

Jessica is a great dancer and even greater teacher. She not only makes you feel comfortable with your own body but also helps you find the confidence within you!
