I believe each student is unique, with a distinct personality, way of thinking, and approach to music. In teaching my adult students, I focus on helping them find a balance between their own imaginative expression and the stylistic demands of the pieces they play. This approach, however, isn't as effective for young pianists. For younger students, I feel it’s essential to discover an approach that sparks their curiosity and desire to learn, creating an engaging and enjoyable experience that keeps them motivated to continue studying the piano. In my classes, students not only have fun but also gain lasting skills and meaningful insights.
