I am a guitar tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, and I also compose and perform. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis. I teach with a focus on music as a lifelong skill. My specialties are acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar performance. Beginners receive step-by-step guidance to build solid technique. Advanced players refine their expressive and creative abilities. I emphasize intricate arrangements and detailed self-expression. Lessons are designed to encourage both discipline and freedom. My guitar teaching philosophy is that every guitarist should feel confident both in playing and in caring for their instrument. I teach music fundamentals such as chords, scales, and rhythm. Alongside this, I introduce essential skills like guitar maintenance and string changing. Students practice basic setup and adjustments for playability. I also explain guitar electronics and the use of effects pedals. These lessons create independence and control over tone. Beginners progress step by step through guided learning. Advanced players explore expression, arrangement, and tone shaping. The Campfire Strummer learns to keep their guitar ready for gatherings and personal music. The Worship Leader is prepared for live performance with skill and reliable gear knowledge. I blend theory, practice, and hands-on demonstrations in every session. My goal is to make learning fun, useful, and rewarding. Students leave lessons with both improved playing and practical skills. Music and instrument care come together as one path of growth.
