Hi, I’m a singing tutor with 5+ years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a long break. Whether you're preparing for a community choir, singing at karaoke, or just want to enjoy your voice in casual settings, I’m here to support you. My teaching style is low-pressure, encouraging, and focused on creating a safe space where learning feels joyful and stress-free. We work on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness—so your voice feels grounded and free. Tone development is also a key part of our sessions, helping you sound clear, confident, and expressive. I teach genres like Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult, always tailoring lessons to your personal taste and goals. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to explore and have fun. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong and healthy vocal foundation through proven technique and mindful practice. I place special emphasis on breath control and using proper diaphragmatic support, which are essential for vocal stability and stamina. Students learn how to manage their airflow, build control, and avoid tension while singing.

We work on targeted exercises to strengthen breath capacity and support, helping you sing with more power and ease. I guide students in developing stamina so they can sing longer without fatigue. Proper warmups, cool-downs, and vocal care routines are also part of my method to support long-term vocal health.

I’m especially effective with students like The Suzuki Student and The Orchestra Member, who benefit from structured routines and consistent technique. Together, we focus on body awareness, posture, and vocal alignment for a relaxed but supported sound. My lessons offer the tools you need to sing safely, even in demanding settings.

Whether you’re singing solo, in a group, or preparing for a performance, these techniques will support your voice every step of the way. You’ll notice more strength, more control, and greater endurance. With practice and the right guidance, you’ll sing longer and stronger.
