About Briar
I hold a Master’s degree in Music with a concentration in violin performance, and I have taught violin to children, teens, and adults for over six years. My performance experience includes orchestral concerts, chamber groups, and solo recitals, all of which influence my holistic, real-world teaching approach. I believe in combining discipline with joy, encouraging every student to embrace both technical mastery and emotional expression. I’m deeply committed to helping students not just improve but truly enjoy the learning process. I adjust my methods to fit each student’s individual needs, pace, and preferred musical direction. Over the years, I’ve helped students achieve strong exam results, perform confidently in concerts, and grow into independent musicians.
