About Jemima
Hi! I'm Jemima Burt, a University of Sydney medical student. Before this, I was an ABC journalist for seven years covering news for television, radio and online. One day, I decided I'd like to sit the GAMSAT and passed first time without a science background. I scored in the highest quartile for the CASPER test and aced my interview. Within a year I had quit my job with offers to University of Queensland and USyd.
The key is good communication.
Over the years I've done dozens of interviews and live crosses on either side of the microphone. I've written for long-form television and breaking news.
Let me work with you to improve your communication skills - it will be a lifelong investment which will serve you well beyond your med application :)
