Hi, I’m a passionate singing tutor with over ten years of teaching experience and a **Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis**. I’ve had the joy of working with students of all levels—school beginners, college musicians, and adult or professional learners alike. About the lesson

For **Adult Beginners**, the journey starts with building comfort in their own voice. Simple breathwork and tone-shaping exercises help them discover resonance and a natural vocal colour they didn’t know they had. We use **vocal journals** to track feelings, breakthroughs, and struggles, encouraging reflection that deepens their connection to their sound. **Lyric analysis sheets** guide them to see songs as stories, not just melodies—unlocking confidence in storytelling through music. For the **Advanced Teen**, the focus shifts to refining artistry. They explore **genre-crossing**—jazz one week, indie or soul the next—to stretch their tone palette and emotional range. Improvisation games with **melody trainers and DAWs** let them experiment, making “mistakes” part of their creative identity. Both personas benefit from **story-driven singing**. Adults rediscover playfulness they may have lost; teens find maturity in expressing layered emotions. Each session blends technique and interpretation—sculpting tone, shaping phrases, and bringing lyrics to life. By the end, they don’t just sing songs—they **own them**.
