About Max

I have 18 years playing and 5 years professional experience - I didn't need a degree from an overpriced uni, I just started playing, got good and now its my job! I love teaching so whether you're a complete beginner looking to build a good foundation and confidence or at an intermediate level and needing some technical guidance give me a nod and we'll get you confident, technically solid and ready to get your skills out there!

About the lesson

I'm here to help you get from beginner or intermediate to a place where you can comfortably play, perform and jam with other musicians at an advanced level!

Things we'll cover

• Chords - With smooth transitions from basic open chords up to complicated 7(#9b13) chords you'll be able to play any song you want!

• Scales - Learn how to play solos and understand how the chords work to perform licks and flourishes that help you stand out from other players!

• Live performances (with singing coaching upon request) - Work your way up the confidence ladder so you can get out there and play and connect with other musicians. We'll develop a strong sense of rhythm and a learn where our instrument fits within a track.

• Song writing and recording - Learn how to develop and record your own ideas and express yourself musically (IF YOU WANT TO!)

• Professional coaching - Guidance on how to get that first PAID GIG! I love getting paid to play music and I can show you how to unlock that skill tree!
