About Heidi
I have been teaching Finnish for foreigners since 2018 and my students have are of many different nationalities. I have worked mostly with adults but I also have some experience in how to teach Finnish to children.
I am studying my Bachelor's in English Studies at University Complutense of Madrid. I was a Erasmus+ student in Belgium during the academic year 2018-2019. I also have a lot of practical experience in how to manage when speaking in foreign languages. Moreover, I have accomplished some translation projects in which English was the source language.
My teaching experience includes also working in Spain and Italy taking care of the children and teaching English. My students (and their parents) have been happy with the results. I have also given private English lessons in different families in Spain. In Finland I worked as a school assistant.

I teach Finnish at all levels and I teach only through Skype.
I can help you to improve your language skills and I adapt to every student's needs and goals, paying special attention on the factors the student finds the most challenging. The emphasis is on communication. I attempt to speak with the student according to his/her level. We can analyse texts or I can give feedback on the student's writing. I can also give some exercises that are helpful for the learning process.
