About Hamoodi
I am a second-year computer science and maths student at the University of Manchester who has a passion for teaching. I have always offered to tutor my family friends kids, cousins, etc. In maths and science at a GCSE level, as I excelled in these subjects at school and really enjoyed teaching/tutoring them. I have helped students of all different levels achieve higher grades and be satisfied with their results, now I am finally deciding to start tutoring outside of my inner circle and help others.

My approach to teaching is based on grasping the fundamentals of the subject topic, then building on and around this baseline of understanding. I establish this starting ground by explaining the theory to the student in a way that is digestible to their current understanding. Then through the use of questions, I try to stretch their knowledge and broaden it. Once I sense the student is confident in their understanding, I will set some practice problems for them as homework to reinforce what they currently know from the topic while expanding their understanding.
