About Summer

I am a UBC medical student who finished years of the undergraduate Pharmacology program at McGill University (GPA: 3.93) I have taken university level courses in calculus, statistics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry and more! I took IB chemistry SL with total IB score (41/45 with 3/3 bonus points).I have over 7 years in tutoring and teaching experience and am currently working part time with McGill Tutoring Services. I have also TAed for chemistry courses in the past.

About the lesson

I believe in more than just teaching material and concepts to students. I want to help students develop their own study strategies and habits to help them succeed in the long run. Depending on the subject and topic, I will work with the student to develop approaches to combat different types of questions. Furthermore, I like to use my numerous years of teaching and personal experience to create unique tutoring sessions.

Perfect! Summer is an excellent tutor and taught Chemistry and Biology to my daughter. She is a bright, kind and smart person as well as a good leader. She knows how to lead kids to study and do homework. My daughter describes her as patient, kind, and gifted in the area of teaching. She makes difficult concepts very easy to understand! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable tutor with detailed in-depth knowledge of Chemistry and Biology. I highly recommend her!
