About Christi
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I homeschooled my children from PreK-High School. I currently teach 5th grade at a hybrid school where I have also taught 3rd and 4th grade for several years. I run STEAM camps throughout the summer for 1st-6th grade. I have taught science and history classes to homeschoolers and taught 3rd-5th grade in a Waldorf-inspired school for two years. I have been tutoring students in 1st-5th grade in Math and Reading for the past 3 years.

I use Science of Reading and can teach remedial skills and fluency and spelling rules and tricks.
I help students master basic math facts (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, ...) I can tutor in science, history and social studies for Elementary and Middle School.
I am most comfortable working with K-5th grade.
A typical lesson would start with review, then move onto skills the student needs to master or helping with current lessons/homework. Lessons include games, hands on help, worksheets, etc.
