About Florence

As a vocal coach with over 6 years of experience, I am committed to helping my students find their unique voice and develop the technical skills they need to sing with confidence and ease. I work with students of all levels, from beginners to professional singers, and tailor my lessons to fit each individual’s needs. For beginners, I focus on building a solid foundation by teaching proper breath control, pitch accuracy, and basic vocal techniques. As students progress, I introduce more advanced vocal techniques, such as resonance, vibrato, and vocal runs, to help them expand their range and vocal flexibility. I believe that singing should be a joyful and creative experience, and I encourage my students to explore a variety of genres, from pop and classical to jazz and musical theater. Performance is a key element of my teaching, and I help students develop the skills necessary to perform with confidence, whether they are singing in a recital, auditioning for a role, or just performing for fun. I provide guidance on stage presence, emotional expression, and connecting with an audience, ensuring that students feel prepared and confident when they take the stage. My ultimate goal is to help students build a healthy, versatile voice while fostering their creativity and love for singing.

About the lesson

With over 6 years of experience as a vocal coach, I am passionate about helping students improve their singing technique, performance abilities, and musicality. I focus on teaching solid vocal fundamentals, including breath control, vocal resonance, pitch accuracy, and tone production.

I believe that a strong technical foundation is essential for developing a healthy and sustainable voice, and I work with each student to create a personalized plan based on their goals, vocal range, and learning style. For beginners, I start with foundational exercises and simple songs to build confidence and vocal control. As students progress, I introduce more advanced techniques such as vibrato, phrasing, and vocal agility, and I help them expand their vocal range. I also emphasize the importance of ear training and sight-singing, as these skills enhance overall musicality and help students become more confident performers.

I work across a wide range of musical styles, including pop, classical, jazz, and musical theater, to give students a diverse musical education and help them develop versatility as singers. Performance coaching is an important part of my lessons, and I work with students to help them develop stage presence, engage with their audience, and deliver memorable performances. My goal is to help students grow into confident and skilled vocalists, no matter what their musical goals may be.
