About Isla

With a Master’s in Spanish for the Professions and over 9 years of tutoring experience, I love helping retired learners connect with the Spanish language in a low-stress, engaging way. My approach is nurturing and goal-oriented, yet never rushed. I take time to listen and understand what brings you to the language. My students enjoy learning through cultural stories, conversational games, and light, accessible texts. We practice pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday phrases that build confidence and comfort. About the lesson

Spanish for medical situations needs to be both clear and compassionate. That’s how I design my teaching approach.
