About Emilie
I am a second-year dual degree student, both at Sciences Po Paris and in a Bachelor's degree in mathematics at the Université Paris Cité. This versatility allows me to provide the maximum to each student, by understanding their expectations and needs in mathematics. I will also be able to help prepare the Parcoursup file from the first year, knowing the challenges and demands of the training courses.

Since 2020, I have been a remote mentor to a middle school student and have regularly taught math lessons to my high school students.
I organize my lessons in three parts: first, a review of the themes of the past week, then the study of a lesson, its exercises and the learning of the typical exercises for the test. Finally, I always take a specific time to answer all the questions of the student, whether they concern the session or the teachers' lessons.
I focus my lessons on the fun and useful side of mathematics. For example, for a second-year course on vectors, the exercises can focus on themes familiar to the student (a reading, a video game, etc.).
My courses are aimed in particular at high school students, from the second to the final year (including the expert mathematics option): in this case, I add preparation for the oral exam. However, having given courses to middle school students, I also know the middle school mathematics program very well.
