About Maria
ESL lessons in a 12 students group setting and one on one setting with three years of experience. My students felt I was able to understand their way of thinking about English grammar and idiomatic phrases. I was able to apply my knowledge of the English language in everyday life situations as well as academic situations.

I base my classes on the rapport I am able to establish with the students by learning about their personality traits and using materials they understand and feel it's applicable to real life situations. I am a very caring and expressive instructor that uses her linguistic knowledge of different cultures and understands what it might be confusing due to their colloquialism language exposure and guides them to the right direction. Building blocks strategy is essential to ensure generalization of learnt vocabulary with visual, auditory and written cues and then concepts.
