About Sofia
I have dual nationality, my father is British and my mother is spanish. This has allowed me to have a very close connection to Spain and a great love for the language as well as the culture. I also more widely think of languages as very important, being a student in French and English literature at university, therefore the idea of being a language tutor is very appealing to me.

My style of tutoring involves a very organised structure, starting slow and building up difficulty, as the tutee gets more comfortable. This is because I firmly believe the key to mastering language learning is building confidence. Although, I also am able to assist in late stage revision periods for exams, by providing more intensive, textbook-like sessions. Having done my Spanish A level last year, and getting an A star, I am very familiar with the exam requirements and am able to pinpoint the key learning areas. I have also got a C1 diploma, that I achieved outside school,which has made me gain a very professional side to Spanish aswell.
