About Whitney
I am a Spanish tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication and Spanish Language. Teaching Spanish is not only my profession but also my passion. Over the years, I have worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve fluency and confidence in real-life situations. My teaching style is conversational and highly interactive. Cultural context is also included, so students not only learn the language but understand how it is used in daily life. I adapt lessons to meet personal goals, whether someone wants to communicate easily in new environments or prepare for travel, study, or work. Some learners need quick, practical language for everyday situations, while others focus on reaching fluency for long-term success. In both cases, I provide patient guidance and consistent practice to ensure growth. My methods include role plays, real-world conversations, and practice scenarios, which help students gain confidence outside the classroom. I encourage questions and curiosity, as they lead to deeper understanding. By combining discipline with motivation, I make sure progress is steady and visible.
