About Kanwar

So a little bit about me is that I have an engineering degree and studying to get another postgraduate degree in computer science. I have worked in the software industry as a full-stack developer for over 5 years in different domains like ERP, FinTech, and POS systems. Even now I'm working with a NewYork-based software engineering firm.

Throughout my learning and career, I have worked on multiple projects building front-end apps, back-end services, and databases. A lot of challenges faced and insights into software architecture for how enterprise-level applications function are some of the things I have experience with.

I feel like I want to pass that knowledge, insights, and information on where the tech world is going now to other people so they can be on the right path for their learning and career in the software field. I love teaching others and expressing that knowledge in creative ways :)

About the lesson

Being a specialist in multiple programming languages, like C#, Java, Javascript, Typescript, and Python, I tend to focus on selecting one language of the student's choosing and then working towards a SMALL CUSTOM PROJECT, which in my experience is the best way to learn the language as well as software architecture.

A typical lesson will include an explanation of how a certain functionality works, with the student practicing with me. At the end of every class, I will give a small assignment to be completed which we will evaluate in the next class. Overall focus is going to be mostly on writing code and implementation rather than theory.

What sets me apart is that I will be available to the students after scheduled meetings as well, meetings shall have flexible timings and we will focus on weekly goals to achieve to track progress.

These lessons are for anyone wanting to learn how to code, enhance their current knowledge of software development or trying to get into the software field. So basically students and working professionals both.
