About Ivy

I am a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major). My teaching focuses on creating a safe, supportive space for all students, especially neurodivergent learners and those managing anxiety. I believe that singing should feel joyful and calming, not overwhelming or pressured. To achieve this, I use sensory-friendly vocal exercises that gently guide students toward vocal growth. Visual cues and structured yet gentle routines help create clarity and comfort in each lesson. Every session is designed to reduce stress and build confidence step by step. I specialize in soothing genres such as Lullabies, Instrumental Vocalizing, and Calming Pop. These styles allow students to explore their voices in a grounded and emotionally safe way. In my lessons, every student is affirmed, celebrated, and encouraged to express themselves authentically. My approach blends technical growth with emotional care, helping students find their unique sound. Together, we’ll work toward singing with ease, self-acceptance, and a sense of calm confidence. Your voice deserves to be heard — and I’m here to help you share it with joy.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on helping singers build a strong, healthy voice with confidence and control. We start with breath control exercises to create a steady and supported sound. I teach techniques to improve vocal stamina so you can sing longer and stronger without strain.

Pitch matching is a big part of my lessons, helping you develop accurate intonation for solos, ensembles, or any performance setting. I also work on resonance shaping, so your voice feels full, balanced, and expressive across all registers.

Every lesson combines technique with musicality, encouraging you to connect emotionally to what you sing. I guide students who want to shine in solo performances as well as those who need to blend beautifully in group settings.

My goal is to make you feel confident in your abilities while giving you the tools to grow as a singer. Together, we’ll tackle challenges step by step, turning them into strengths.

With consistent practice and focused guidance, you’ll discover how to use your voice with freedom and expression. Every lesson is designed to help you sing with both skill and joy.
