About Leif

I am a dedicated singing tutor with 7 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. My passion for singing and teaching has allowed me to work with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them discover and develop their unique voices. I believe that every singer has the potential to shine, and my goal is to provide the tools and guidance to make that happen. Throughout my teaching career, I have focused on building strong technical foundations such as breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal flexibility. I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s individual needs and musical interests, whether they are beginners or advanced performers. Creating a supportive and encouraging environment is a priority for me, so students feel confident to explore and grow. My expertise extends beyond vocal technique to include performance coaching and music theory, helping students connect emotionally with their music and present themselves confidently on stage. I enjoy working across various musical genres and love helping students find their own style and expression. Continual learning and growth are important to me, both as a teacher and a musician. I keep updated with new teaching methods and vocal techniques to ensure my students receive the best instruction possible. Seeing my students develop their voices and achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of my work.

Performance coaching is another key element, aimed at boosting your confidence on stage. You’ll learn how to engage an audience, interpret lyrics meaningfully, and use body language to enhance your delivery. This holistic approach helps transform technical skills into compelling performances that resonate with listeners.

Additionally, lessons include ear training and music theory basics when relevant, to improve your overall musicianship.
