About Rhea

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in vocal performance and have been teaching singing for the past 5 years. My academic background provided me with a strong foundation in music theory, vocal technique, and performance, all of which I bring into my lessons. Teaching singing has been a fulfilling path where I can blend my love for music with my passion for guiding others in finding their voice. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from those just beginning their vocal journey to others preparing for auditions, performances, or personal milestones. I believe in building a strong technical base through breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal health, while also nurturing the expressive and emotional aspects of singing. My experience has taught me that progress comes from a mix of consistency, creativity, and encouragement. My teaching style is calm, focused, and student-centered. I prioritize each student’s goals and learning style, creating customized lesson plans that keep motivation high and challenges manageable. I encourage my students to embrace their voice as it is and develop it with patience and care, rather than pressure or comparison. In addition to teaching, I remain actively involved in performing and continuing my own vocal training. This ongoing development keeps my methods fresh and helps me relate to the evolving needs of my students. I find immense joy in watching learners grow—not just in technique, but in confidence, artistry, and connection with their music.

With 5 years of dedicated experience in vocal instruction, my singing lessons are designed to support each student's unique voice and artistic journey. I work with beginners and intermediate singers alike, offering personalized coaching that strengthens technique and enhances musicality. Every lesson is structured to balance technical growth with expressive freedom, creating a rewarding and motivating learning experience.

A core part of our work focuses on breath control, vocal tone, and pitch accuracy. These foundational skills allow students to sing with greater control and ease across a range of musical styles. We incorporate warm-ups, scale work, and targeted vocal exercises to build stamina and unlock vocal range, while also working on articulation and phrasing.

Repertoire selection is tailored to the student's taste and goals, whether you're preparing for performances, auditions, or simply singing for enjoyment. Through interpretation and performance practice, we develop not just your sound, but your ability to connect with songs and convey emotion. We also touch on stage presence and microphone techniques when relevant.

My lessons emphasize encouragement, patience, and positive reinforcement.
