Many complex concepts can be mastered by making simple models and this leads to deeper learning.
Learning is fun and we need to create lifelong learners who in turn create new learning.
Often new learners need some mentoring, encouragement, and rewards. Most people have a desire to learn new things and all they need is someone who can find at least two ways to navigate them.
This is also called inspiring the learner with some enticing hands-on tasks.

Course setup
Learners need to be enticed into learning through hands-on activities. This brings in the component of developing empathy and understanding. Mentors/ tutors can feel the needs of their learners and then they can find pathways of navigation. Making learning interesting and as much interactive helps learners to gain a deeper understanding of a concept.
Learning is fun and it should not become a stressful event, at least during the concept building and remediation period.
